People’s Movement for Self Reliance was founded in 1985. They focus on community-centric projects to improve the socio-economic and health indicators for children and women. Their core interventions include rehabilitation of intellectually challenged children, prevention of child marriage, and empowering victims of child marriage.

Charkha was founded in 1994 as an innovative non-profit organisation working towards the social and economic inclusion of rural marginalised communities, through the creative use of media. They are committed to empowering communities, through sustainable two-way communication networks, by building their capacity to speak up and access available resources to obtain their rights and entitlements.

Calcutta Rescue was founded in 1991 with the vision to enhance the health, education, living standards and overall wellbeing of slum communities in and around Kolkata. They work in healthcare, health education, and education, with a focus to enhance education and health outcomes for adolescent girls and women.

Margadarshi Society was founded in 2002. They work with street children, children in contact with railways, and adolescent girls. They also focus on 'elected women representatives in 30 Gram Panchayats, run a night shelter for the homeless, and are partnered with Childline for District Childline and Railway Childline programs. Visthar was founded in 1989. They primarily work with women and children from marginalised communities to address issues of child rights violations, social exclusion, and gender-based violence. They support social movements through community-based advocacy and transformative education for child laborers and girls at risk.

Vidya Roshan Charitable Trust was founded in 1992 with the vision to bring about social change by specifically focusing on girls and women of Basai and neighbouring villages in Gurugram. Their approach targets health, education, livelihoods, equality, and empowerment to work with women and girls.

People's Action for Development (PAD) was founded in 1985, in Madurai and Tirunelveli districts on prevention of child labour in beedi and match industries. In 2002, they moved to work with children and adolescents in the coastal communities of Ramanathapuram district. They run ChildLine services in Tuticorin and Ramanathapuram districts.

Jan Vikas Sansthan was formed in 1998 by Dalit youth as a response to the relentless discrimination, exploitation, injustice, and poverty that they faced. They focus on protecting the rights of Dalit and Mahadalit communities and work with children, adolescents, and women to secure their access to education, livelihoods, and social justice. 

Geography: Jaunpur district, Uttar Pradesh

JKASW started in 2006. They work in the areas of education, health, community mobilisation, disaster risk reduction, advocacy, research, and training, with a focus on children, adolescents and young adults. They're focus is on setting up adolescent girls’ resource centres, creating opportunities for increased participation for adolescent girls.
